eRC quad - Level 2 upgrade - Voltage display

This is 2nd upgrade on my eRC quad. It's very simple and straightforward.

The hole point of the voltage display on a quad is that you can see battery voltage before take off and even in flight by doing a simple flyby. This is completely optional, but I think it looks cool and it really helps a lot. And for extra 4g it's awesome.

I've installed it by simply jamming it between lower and upper plate. It's perfect fit and it doesn't go anywhere. Of course, you can put it wherever you want.

WARNING:
1. Be very careful when soldering wires to the voltage display. You shouldn't switch positive and negative wires. If you did everything as I said in "KK2.0 voltage alarm" video, then just make sure you solder positive to number "2" on JST connector and negative to number "1".

Tips:
1. Good idea is to set the reading slightly under actual voltage because it's better to think you have less juice than more.
2. Measuring battery voltage without load (like I did) isn't quite right because you're comparing that with voltage readout from battery under load. However, load is really small and it's not easy to measure voltage once you connect your battery to the quad. Also, this voltage display is not that precise so this doesn't play a big role here.

You need:

On-board voltage display

JST connector

Crimping tool

Soldering Paste

Solder (60/40)

Third/helping hand tool

Multimeter

Phillips screwdriver

Any 30W (or similar) soldering iron.

Enjoy RC as much as I do! :)
