Protech Composites

To the FliteTest Community:

The MESArcFF Program acquired a new leading sponsor this past week called Protech Composites.  We have been in close ties with Sam Olsen, Director of Digital Fabrication, and the whole team over there is very excited to see what we can produce with their composites. They will be sponsoring an upcoming project that calls for the engineering of the MF-1 Wolverine to be constructed all out of carbon fiber composites.  The challenge is going to be creating the aircraft light enough to be able to fly, no foam board allowed.  The Protech Company is also going to be donating a monetary fund as well, which will go to aid the MESArcFF team and their newest chapters located in New Bedford and Orange County.  This episode features the unveiling of the scraps the Protech group gave us, we were then to choose the materials we needed to construct the plane, they will then send out the chosen material.  All leftover material will be used to create motor mounts, supports, control horns, etc. We are very excited to be working with Olsen and the crew, so stay tune to see a scratch build plane made of all carbon fiber!

As always, thank you for watching and supporting the MESArcFF Program.  For any information about the MESArcFF Program please visit us at www.mesarcfoamfighters.com
