FT-22

The FT-22 is a versatile and fun flyer that both beginners and advanced pilots can enjoy. As the first aircraft in our Simple Series, it features the FT Elements Simple Firewall instead of a power pod, making the build straightforward and accessible.

Despite its sleek design and large elevon control surfaces, the FT-22 is surprisingly forgiving in flight, making it an excellent first plane or trainer. It’s a perfect introduction to bank-and-yank style flying, allowing pilots to learn and experiment with confidence.

The FT-22 is highly adaptable: with a smaller motor and battery, it can fly indoors in as little as a two-court gymnasium, while a heavier setup lets it handle light to moderate winds outdoors. Whether you’re learning the basics or exploring more advanced maneuvers, the FT-22 is built for fun, versatility, and accessibility.
