FT Legacy v.2

We’re excited to introduce the updated FT Legacy, a modern refresh of one of Flite Test’s most meaningful designs. This new version features improved landing gear with durable .125” spring wire and 3D-printed mounting plates, along with a tailwheel and elevator fins to enhance ground handling and overall flight performance—especially when flying the twin-motor configuration. Be sure to check out the supplemental build video for a walkthrough of all the new updates.

Inspired by the legendary Telemaster, the FT Legacy honors an aircraft celebrated for its versatility, stability, and gentle flying characteristics. The Telemaster was a true workhorse—used for everything from training new pilots to carrying payloads—and the FT Legacy carries that same spirit forward with modern Flite Test innovation.

The FT Legacy can be built to match your flying style:

• 3-channel single motor for a smooth, forgiving trainer
• 4-channel with ailerons and split flaps for impressive STOL performance and graceful aerobatics
• Twin motor setup for FPV flying, aggressive maneuvers, and incredible versatility

Every configuration remains gentle and predictable, making it enjoyable for newer pilots while still exciting for experienced flyers. A center-mounted bomb bay allows you to drop parachutes, candy, or payloads with ease.

More than just an airplane, the FT Legacy represents the Flite Test community and the creation of Edgewater Airpark, our shared home built through the passion and support of the FT family. This aircraft is both a tribute to the past and a celebration of what we continue to build together.

Thank you for being part of the Flite Test family—and for helping create a legacy of your own.
