FT Simple Scout

Step into the golden age of aviation with the FT Simple Scout is your perfect gateway to the thrill of RC flying, wrapped in the timeless charm of a classic WWI reconnaissance plane!

Inspired by the iconic aircraft of the 1920s, this fun-scale beauty captures the spirit of legends like the Red Baron's wingmen or their daring British rivals. With its open cockpit and distinctive lines, it's incredibly easy to customize—paint it in bold squadron colors, add those signature roundels, or go full Snoopy vs. Red Baron for endless storytelling in the sky!

Designed with Flite Test's signature Simple Series philosophy, the FT Simple Scout is all about quick, easy building, forgiving flight, and unlimited growth potential. No complicated tools or experience needed—just foam board, glue, and a weekend of fun to get airborne.

Perfect for beginners, start with a straightforward 3-channel setup (rudder, elevator, throttle) for stable, gentle flying that builds confidence fast. Master the basics? Upgrade to 4-channel control by adding ailerons to the sturdy wings, unlocking a world of aerobatics: crisp loops, smooth rolls, inverted flight, barnstorming maneuvers, extreme slow flight, and flaperons for even more control. Best part? Even in its most advanced configuration, it stalls gently with wings level—forgiving and confidence-inspiring every time.

Want to take immersion to the next level? Install an optional FPV setup right in the open cockpit for that "pilot's-eye view" experience—like you're actually sitting in the cockpit of a 1920s scout plane—without sacrificing safe visibility or control.

Whether you're a total newbie discovering the hobby, teaming up with friends for epic dogfights and combat fun, or reliving aviation history with a nostalgic twist, the FT Simple Scout delivers joy, adventure, and skill-building in every flight. It's more than a plane—it's the start of countless happy memories and a launchpad for future pilots.

Thank you for choosing the FT Simple Scout—now grab your kit, fire up the build, and let's make some sky magic!
