Wayne , love your Viggen ,I designed a 1/10 scale model back in 1980 , still have it and will be going electric EDF Soon , for pictures mail me at mrscale3557@yahoo.com .
Also have a paper and stick P-nut scale , 13" and tried to rubber power it with a balsa fan in the back , glides well but never had enough power. Jim
I have the Flite-test Viggen next on the schedule. those guys are great .!

I have a Duet and it flies great in winds up to 3-5 mph. I tried to fly it on Saturday in 5-10 mph winds and ended up being pushed into a lake. BUT. The electronics all survived. And it floats so it was easy to get back! I also bought a anemometer today.

I have a duet and it does will like you say in 3-5 mph but any higher than that it doesn't have the power/weight to really do anything

What's the last plane they discuss? I've replayed it a couple of times and cannot hear the plane name. Sounds like a new DLG glider or similar to the alula.

I had a hard time hearing it as well, but since they talked about the Alula, i think they meant a dream flight product.

Here's what I found, and i'm pretty positive that's the correct one: http://dream-flight.com/products/libelle-dlg

Another great show guys! When you were talking about stabilization systems and David said about how on the Viggen, if the gain was right for hovering it was way to high for fast flight.... I had... an IDEA!!!

If you had a FrSky Tyranis, could you have an airspeed sensor that was coupled to the gain channel for your stabilization system? That way the gain could be directly tied to IAS.

Cool podcast. I used to work at Graves RC Hobbies. I worked there for a couple of years. It's definitely a unique store.

Also if you guys are ever in that area again, be sure to check out the RCACF flying club field. It's an awesome site with a 40ft wide by 750 ft long paved runway and it's only about 15 minutes or so away from Graves RC Hobbies.

Good show! David, you will be missed when you leave. I enjoy any time you bring up DLGs. One thing I never heard you (David) talk about is how you ended up here in northern Ohio. I hope you will still be included in the podcast after you returned to Sweden.
