The Arkbird is a great device for any FPV pilots. Take a look and see for yourself.

Nice review man! If you don't mind me asking what was your main reason for going for this on as opposed to the Storm OSD (if you even looked at that on)

I will second this as I am now a proud new storm owner. Speaking of which, gently used remzimbi will be up for sale here soon.

Did i say proud new Storm OSD owner? Scratch that, have yet to have a single second of flight time. Gyros on this thing are total crap! Have leveled and reset gyros more times than I can count and each time I power down and back up again gyros drift 50degrees either way on both pitch and roll. Not to mention, it will only let me gyro reset when it feels like it. Nope I am having none of this....RVOSD5 here we come.

I don't get your comments. Why are you complaining about one product then praising another but not even talking about the one in the article?

So sorry man, after reviewing my comments have to admit they are a bit out of line. I was on a rant regarding a unrelated product. But I do second bmsweb original question of why you chose this particular osd over others such as the cyclops storm. Just trying to get some insight into your decision making process. Once again sorry about the wild tanget.

I have one and I am putting it in a fpv raptor when I get it going I will let you know how it is . The main reason I purchased it was it has a fence mode where if you go outside of the parameters that you set from home it will go into rth mode and come back

The arkbird really is great out of the box now , & needs no firmware upgrades at least the one I got from Hobby King did not need any changes. It is just plug and play now if you are using the Boscam gear.
