Axon Phoenix

Using Ed's, Experimental Airlines, design techniques and instruction, I've built my second Axon which I hope to use for some FPV flight in the very near future.

This video is a quick maiden flight followed by an overview of the plane.

I'm thinking of building this or the Noob Tube. Thanks for the great video. Your build quality is fantastic; she's a looker.

Flite Test crew: You guys produce a high-quality program. What really comes through is the heart you folks have for this hobby and the people in it. You seem like genuinely decent guys.

And finally... Ed from Experimental Airlines has a simple tractor delta (flat airfoil... the whole thing made with one sheet of dollar tree foam) that he builds. I made one and underpowered it with a 100 watt Blue Wonder. It sits on the Mother of All Motor Mounts, a lite-ply monstrosity that seems built for an airplane three times the size, but it flies like a dream. I built the Nutball, and it was fun, but for sheer simplicity of construction the delta is the way to go, especially for the astounding performance you get.

Maybe consider a scratch build segment on it? I'd love to see what you do with it.
