hello people,
this video was shot entirely with the HK wing cam over 2 days the first from the ground stuck to my hat, the second attached to the canopy of my Stinger. I have modified the plane slightly by putting in a stronger fan and larger power system. I use a spectrum DX7 TX and this one is flying with the HK Orange 6CH RX with the mini satelite. the rest of the details are in the trailers of the video.
the plane is a bit heavier than stock and suffers a bit because of it (not too much) but is quite a bit quicker than stock. Im not sure how fast exactly because i don't yet have a radar but it does not take long to get me squinting to see it!
The other problem i'm working on is that with the amount of power the fan sucks from the batery, if the esc goes into voltage safe cutout I have about 30 seconds of reduced thrust before it goes dead stick. that makes for some interesting landings considering that it does not like to fly slow with the wing load it curently has.
All that said it is a hoot to fly if you like to fly fast! just don't sneeze or its gone (probably into the ground) but hey thats the fun of a foamie!
Oh I almost forgot i mooved the fan about 15mm forward of the original mounting position to bring the CG back to somewhare near the origonal.
Hope you enjoy the video it was fairly windy the second day so the plane was getting the wobbles a bit here and there but you get the idea.
