Ran D. St.Clair has been an active member of the Flite Test community for several years and has consistently created projects and written articles that make our jaws drop. The VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) Explorer that he brought to Flite Fest West 2017 is no exception!
The seamlessness transition from VTOL to beginner plane while midair was stunning. Although Josh and Stefan, both experienced pilots, were the ones who had the opportunity to fly this beautiful creation, Ran D. expressed how this truly is a plane that even the greenest beginner could fly.
