Don't underestimate the value of FailSafe

I have been rather lax in setting up FailSafe on my aircraft until I was forced to at a recent FPV race competition. Realizing how easy it is I have subsequently set-up my other planes as well but never took it too seriously until I experienced radio Tx interference this past weekend on my first flight with a new GoPro on the plane.

Have a look at the video link below. You can see and hear how the FailSafe kicks in as the throttle cuts off and the plane dives towards the water. I had full opposite aileron but no response until the last second! Hence the vicious over correction to the left.

If it has not been for the FailSafe kicking in I believe the aircraft would have dived into the water with power on causing to me to lose plane,  GoPro and electronics.

I hope this near miss will prompt you to set your FailSafe on your aircraft if you don't do so already.

Cheers
