ft-3d battery tray,

by brianm311 | April 4, 2013 | (0) Posted in Tips

I built this tray to hold my battery in place, works well used a cut down cockpit from the same plans an just cut it down a little shorter to fit in, also added a small ply insert to mount landing gear on, the plane is just a blast to fly thanx flite test for the plans that have inspired me to build my own, just another little added bonus to the joys of rc flying!!!!

So do you put the battery in there? or does it sit on the floor of the fuselage and thats a stopper tray for it so it wont slide out? (edited)

I put the battery in it has Velcro to hold it in place the battery sits about half way in the tray. it is adjustable for cg purpose and is easy to move. I use rubber bands to hold it even though it has a tight fit.
