PLEASE WATCH VIDEO FIRST.

Hello flite test fans, today I’m going to be showing you a cheap and easy to make way to make some gates for your fpv racing!

This is going to be a really quick video showing you what I did to make some fpv racing gates for indoor and outdoor RC flying, you can also change the sizes of the gates to suite your multi-rotor size or if you plan on flying with a bigger group of people.

I used:

 -2x 2m x 2.15mm PVC waste pipe.

- 2x 90 degree 2.15mm waste pipe adapters.

- 2x  3 way 2.15mm waste pipe adapters.

I started by cutting the pipes down from 2m long to 1m. Leaving me with 2  75cm pieces of pipe and 2 1 meter pieces. . I then cut one of the 1m pieces into four quarters of 25cm.

At this stage you can glue the pipes together if you wish but I decided to leave the pieces friction fitted as it means I can take the gates apart and then assemble them at the flying field.

I got the three 1 meter pipes and attached them together using the 90 degree pieces to make a U shape.

I then attached two of the 25cm pipe pieces to the 3 way adapter and repeated this process for the other side to form the feet.

The simply attach these to the bottom of the U.

BAM.

You now have a cheap and strong gate for FPV races.
