After being out of the RC hobby for 10 years, I wanted to try out again in scratch building. I'm glad i stumbled onto flitetest after searching for helicopter review. I clicked onto the swappable link and further found the Old Fogey. I just had to build one for myself. Well here is my maiden flight. I think I went to much on the dihedral wing tips. It tending to sway side to side.

I have built one also and I face the same pentulum effect that you have mentioned. I am planing to build an other wing with less dihedral hopefully to eliminate that effect. Currently my dihedral is about 10cm.
I am wondering if you tried anything yourself.
