To the FliteTest Community;

Ashton is proud to announce his last design being in the middle school program called the MF-Typhoon. Pic below of the jet and recommended specs:

Around Winter break time, Ashton wanted to create something amazing, something better then his famous MF-15 Eagle design.  He really wanted to set the bar high with this design and make it unique to others, involving different ways of battery hook up, fuselage design, and the use of a rudder.  The plane that came to mind was the European Typhoon.  What Ashton soon found out that was this wasn't no easy task, and after a month of working on the design, he had to shelve it and take a break.  A month later, and a fresh new approach, he was able to complete the plane and it flew amazing, the best floating foam fighter that we currently have in production.  Garret over at Altitude Hobbies was immediatley hooked on the plane and wanted it for sale. This would mark the second design that made it into the store, making Ashton our best overall designer in program history.  Ashton has also made the plans available at the following link:

Build video to follow this Friday!

Ashton proud to show off his new creation, and he wanted to run the whole maiden and build episodes by himself.

If you remember back, Ashton's MF-15 Eagle was flown by Josh Bixler!

The Typhoon in its package ready for Altitude.

The plane features a removable nose cone for easy access to the electronical components.  The plane also has its signature canards in the front, giving a lot of front nose lift, making harrier stalls easy to perform.

Removable piece seen here.

Motor designed to be placed inside the plane, with no cutout section in the belly pan. The motor has to be a super mega jet equivalent or higher.  This plane also feaures a rudder capability.

Ashton saying thanks to all the support over his 3 years.

The Typhoon flew amazing out of the hands.

Too much fun!

 Ashton and Marshall talk about the planes performance, this being our last official MESArcFF flying episode together.
