Slope Soaring and Build Info - Flying footage with Pelicans

Following instructional videos posted by Ed at ExperimentalAirlines, I built a glider only version of his Photon and have been having a great time slope soaring with it. Information about dimensions and some variations on the build approach are listed starting at 2:40 in the video and in the link below the video.  I am using a Spektrum DX8 and a Spektrum 6115e micro receiver. The ability to mix flap, aileron, and elevator travel together on the Aux3 knob is indispensable for tuning and finding the right flap and aileron positions for a completely unknown and new plane/wing configuration.

The flight footage is taken along the San Diego Coastline this past June.  It is not unusual to see more than 40+ Brown pelicans flying offset from each other in line or V formations.   They are inspiring fliers and there's some footage where I come ver close to joining formation with them.  I take great care not to move the glider at them in deliberate or threatening ways, so just know that I am being mindful of them. Don't forget to watch the bonus FAIL clip at the end. Thank you FliteTest!   Hope you enjoy.

Very cool, awesome music too; glad to see an RC video sans Dubstep. Not that I hate dubstep, it just gets old.
