Quadcopter Ghost for Halloween

This is my quadcopter that I did a little Halloween modification to after seeing a couple others similar on the internet. If you look through some of my other uploads, you'll see what the quad looks like without a ghost attached.

The LEDs that I have on the bottom of the booms really did a good job of lighting up the ghost!!
One of my other posted videos shows what it looks like during the daytime.
Many thanks to my wife Jan for doing the filming while I flew the ghost.

All major components came from HobbyKing. It uses the X525 V3 frame (I painted the front arms and front props orange). The brains of the beast is the new KK2.0 board with the LCD screen. Motors are 2826-1240kv running 9x4.7SF props (I may increase to 10" when I start to carry my GoPro). The ESCs are HK 20A with 3A UBEC. Under the unmodified Gladware cover (which works great for this frame), I also used the HK power distribution board. The receiver is the OrangeRX which fits perfectly between the upper and lower frame pieces. I also soldered a JST connector to the bottom of the KK2.0 board and made a JST Y adapter so I could run the LCD lights on the bottom of the arms and also hook up the low voltage alarm.

More RC stuff to see at the website that my friends Dan, Dave, and I have.

Nice work. Seriously spooky! If someone didn't know what the sound was, they'd be pretty freaked out. Did you spook anyone with it??

It was a riot. When it's in the air, you hear kids scream and their parents say "That is so cool". I make sure when it's in the air that nobody is underneath it or near it. Lots of fun.
