Quick Tip: Engine Mount Damper

A balanced propeller is essential for every... well for everything that has a propeller. Being picky about the balance will allways be worth your time, especially if you are doing FPV and rely on a stable image.

Here is a quick tip to dampen you propeller vibrations, even when you change propellers! Just remove the paper from both sides of some spare foam you have laying around, and make a foam sandwhich with you engine and engine mount! Leave plenty of foam hangin out of your sandwhich , it's easy to trim off. That's it!

This doesn't just work for engine mount, this can be applied to any surface mated with screws. That means gimbals. Everyone loves damped gimbals.

Of coarse foam isn't the only, or even the best material for this purpose, but when life gives you lemons...

PS: I don't own any, but I imagine that this would also be very useful for a Xcopter, and when I say "X" i am refering to a variable that represents an integer. Not just a quad copter!
