Quick Update - September Events!

by FliteTest | September 4, 2013 | (10) Posted in News

We wanted to give you a quick update on the builds and events coming up in the next few weeks!

The FT Slinger build video and free plans are available here!

The official speed build kit name is the "FT Racer". The FT Racer and FT Duster will be available as speed build kits in our web store next Wednesday, Sept. 11th.

The reason for the delay with this speed build kit is because we will be attending Neat Fair! If you're in the area, come out and meet up with us at this event.  It'll be a great time!

You can find out more about this event here:
www.neatfair.org

Lastly, we wanted to mention that we will also be rolling out a Flite Test Podcast very soon! Stay tuned for that!

Thanks again for all of your support, and we hope to see some of you out at Neat Fair!!

Great job guys. I have been waiting to see anything about the airboat I spotted in a stack of your projects... Hope to see information about it before winter gets here. Would be neat to run this in the snow and if it is water worthy to run it in a small body of water. Keep up the good work. All of you should be considered for AMA hall of fame as far as I'm concerned.. Cannot think of anyone or group of folks that has done more to promote this great hobby/sport we call R/C.

Does anyone know what the coast for the Neat Fair is? Or do you need reservations to get in?

I was able to touch base with Josh and his replies with answer to my questions , among which was also the interest in the Saab Viggen as I see another reply earlier.
Great fun on the dollar store budget

You need more cowbell ! :) That and a series of gliders that include options for high start, with high start bungee kit, and perhaps something like an Alula that can be discus launched.

Dear Josh, could you please speak a little bit slowly? As I'm a foreigner-non-native-english-speaker I sometimes have dificulty to follow you. I may be speaking on behalf a lot of friends. Thank you very much!

I agree: my hearing aids don't go that fast, I noted in your up date, when you moved the mike right in front, much easier to understand, think there is less room, liveliness, less echo.
This is not a complaint, just noticed much easier to understand, outside, no problem.
Love what your doing, keep it up.
Hope floats are coming or skis, we get snow :)

I still would like to know what motors you used in the videos of each of these builds along with the prop sizes. I need to order motors and would like to order motors and props that you have proven to work.
Thanks

I would LOVE to see a foldable travel swappable! I live in a city and need to use public transport to get to where I can fly.
If there are any scratch builds out there that already fulfills my needs, please let me know :)
PS. You are doing an awesome job!

I WOULD LIKE MORE INFO ON THE MOTORS ESC,S AND PROPS . YOU KIND OF SKIP RIGHT THROUGH THAT INFO LIKE WE ARE ALL EXPERTS, I AM AN OLD NITRO MAN AND NEW TO ELECTRICS. I HAVE BUILT THE BLOODY WANDER, AND THE BABY BLENDER, AND SCRATCH BUILT A SE5a WITH THE SPITFIRE WING TECNEK ,MY NEXT PROJECT IS THE 3D BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT THE MOTOR YOU ARE USING AND THIS PLANE NEEDS THE RIGHT MOTOR AND PROP TO WORK CORRECTLY. THANK YOU TOMMY
