Skimmin over Sand Dune Clouds

Lake Michigan is a great location for FPV.  This day was unique.  There was a SW wind coming off the lake, which hit the dunes, went up and formed a pretty low-laying cloud layer.

Finwing Penguin, M2814 motor, GoPro Hero original, live NTSC video from Gopro, Spektrum 2.4 GHz (DX6i+AR6210), 800 mW 900 MHz VTx (Rangevideo), readymaderc VRx w/ SAW filter, 900 MHz patch antenna, Ardupilot 2.5, 3s4400 battery

Thats awesome. I love it. I go to school on the west side of the state of Michigan. Can't wait to fly on the lakeshore. The blueman group music really tops it off.

I've gone 4.4 km on one occasion. That was with a patch antenna on the DX6i.
