Slinger Mania

(MINCOCO's article UMX micro Ripslinger was the inspiration for this.)

I made this for my 5 Year old Grandson, no RC, Just a toy made, with the FT Racer plans and some locall foamboard.

I just Photo shopped a Sky as background, because the original background was a little messy.

This the "double blade" conception that a made with 2 used EP-1047 propellers and a foam spinner, and a selfmade FT Elements Simple Firewall.

I used this Toy to have some reference, designed the decals in a smal cad program, and coloured them in Photoshop

I used Decal Paper for the"decals', obviously. Not so easy to aplly, certainly not for the bigger decals.

For those interested, see below.

On request I added the Eyes, which I forgot.

Very nice decals! I wish I could print them... Also, your eyes look great, and I'm having a hard time getting mine right as I lack all talent whatsoever. Care to share? Thanks for posting!

I added the Eyes.

You can print them, this are only .jpg files.
Save them, scale them as You like.

Go to your local library, use their computer, download and print it, our library gives one free color print per day, or at least it is very inexpensive, like less than a dollar.

thanks for the patterns for decals.... I wish everyone would share their talent and expertise... I always add what I can to help others... I bought some t-shirt transfers at walmart, for $10 for 7 sheets, in the craft section to try out , just have to print the reverse image and then iron them on... hopefully it will work out.

Let me know if that worked, I mean the T-shirt transfers. I used White water slide decals form Testors. But they are harder to find here as the T-shirt transfers.

Great job!

I made my own using an existing plane for my son. Here is the short video:
