Super Simple DIY FPV Pan Mount

by Klinger RC | December 13, 2014 | (0) Posted in How To

Hey guys!  Here is how to make your own DIY Pan (look left and right) mount for fpv. Test footage coming as soon as I get the motors for my FT Mini Guinea.

First we need to cut out small piece of foam about 1" by 1.5"

Now push the servo horn down into the foam to make a mark outlining the servo horn.

If you can't see the indentation that well try tracing it out with a pencil.

Next, cut out the piece of foam inside the indentation. Cut it slightly smaller than the line so that the sevo horn fits in nice and snug.

Now test fit the servo horn. If it doesn't fit, cut out a SMALL bit of foam. You can always cut out more foam but you can't un-cut!

I reinforced mine by wrapping it with packing tape and putting a BBQ skewer on the end.

Next hot glue in the servo horn into the gap.

Finally, attach your fpv camera, mount it on your plane and your ready to fly!

Thanks for reading this article and spending you time building this mount. I hope this makes your fpv experiance much more fun and enjoyable. For builds, reviews, flight videos and more, checkout my youtube channel!
