The Bloody Racer

Today I present to you: The Bloody Racer

I always really liked the look of Racing Airplanes. And I always wanted to have one. Well, because my budget and my flying skills are both not that high, I decided to give my Bloody Baron a small makeover. Here is what I did:It needed some color. I decided to go for a Blue with some grey details here and there. Mainly because I still had the colors. For one of my first paint jobs it turned out quite good. I also added some decals made out of normal A4 sized paper. I glued them on with some basic hobby glue and reinforced the edges with some tape.

The next step was the canopy and Windshield for the small cockpit. The canopy is made out of 2mm depron with my homemade paper decals. The windshield is made from a old water bottle and a piece from a lightbulb packaging. Sadly the glue did not dry completely clear but I can life with this.

After mastering the art of belly landing I decided it was time for a landing gear. Its made from a piece of aluminium I got from my local hardware store and some foam board wheels. It also removes for better transport.

I still have to "maiden" it with all the new customisations but I'm pretty sure it will work.

The next steps will be to upgrade the ESC and battery for more speed. I really want to know what the Bloody Racer can do.

Greetings,

Viktor
