Intro

The RC hotel in Corfu is a family run business in the heart of Corfu. It is a holiday resort with a capacity of about 30 people with one thing different to other holiday resorts, IT HAS RC FLYING FACILITES.

However, the facility is also very much tailored for families as there is plenty to do on the island. Daily trips run into Corfu town at no extra cost with there being other trips run daily such as boat trips which cost a small amount. The resort also has a large swimming pool which is lovely to get into after being in the sun! Around the bar area there is also WIFI so you can stay connected if you need to check emails or watch YouTube :P

Food

One of the things which I much enjoyed about my trip was the food because it is amazing! You can ask for a range of foods from a salad up to a full English breakfast, all of which are made from fresh ingredients. Lunch has a set menu which is very large. The dinner menu changes every day to ensure that you will not have the same thing more than once while you are on holiday and again it is amazing!

All rooms have on suite bathrooms and air conditioning units to ensure you have a good night’s rest. The rooms also have fridges to make sure that any drinks you may have purchased can remain chilled.

Breakfast is served from 8:30 – 10am.

Lunch is served from 12:30 – 2:30pm.

Dinner is served at 9pm.

Flying

Flying is available from 9am-1pm and again from 5pm-8pm which is plenty of time. There are also mode 1 and mode 2 transmitters which can be used to suit you flying type if you did not bring any models with you. The models are also both nitro and electric with batteries and fuel being provided.

You don’t even need to worry about charging the batteries as you grab them from a rack, fly them and then put them back on a shelf to be charged. ITS EASY!.

The run way is fairly long and grass, with up to 4 pilots being able to be flying at any one time.

There is also a helicopter area to fly safely, but you can also fly them on the mainline providing that is okay with your fellow pilots.

You can also take you own models to the resort using a courier service or by bringing them in your suitcase (providing you stick to the correct lipo limit on the airline).

There is also tuition using an instructor and buddy lead at a small fee. This means you can go to the resort and then learn how to fly!

There are also other RC facilities such as RC boats, tanks and cars which are available to use throughout the day.

I would recommend this resort for families and any rc pilot! This is because the atmosphere is amazing and also the model flying has the best backdrop on the planet. There is also plenty to do for people not into flying!

Conclusion

Finally I would like to round up this article with the ultimate question. Would I go again?

Well yes I would, the combination of the flying, location and hospitality is better than any place I have been and I cannot wait to return next year with some members at my flying club.

I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE RCHOTEL.

Have a good day and please subscibre to my youtube channel if you enjoyed the content!

Thanks again, Matt.
