Wolf Spider Part 2

To the FliteTest Community:

EPS 39.  Drone no more, in listening to our viewers the use of the word was not very popular, and so, out of respect, Harrison has named his creation the Wolf Spider.  We were able to get a lot of support from the last video on the Tiger Drone on how to go about fixing the plane’s performance.  Harrison went back to the creation board and extended the nose by 9 inches, as well as supporting the back wing struts and motor mount.  Using the Protech Composite materials made it an easy fix and the plane feels strong and stable in the air.  We also fixed the controls issue in having the rudders and the ailerons work together all on the right stick, making it easier for the crew to fly the plane.  I think with a couple more flights and locking in that CG we will be able to put the FPV gear on it and tryout out the new antennas.

Its looking great. If you need to play with the cg still pick up some tire weights from a tire store and what i do is use a strip of Velcro on the top of the nose and Velcro the weights down adding one at a time to see what the plane needs if it need just a little or a lot. Then you can remove what you don't need very easy. Keep it up guys.

very very cool design!!! I have been toying with the concept of a twin boom fpv platform. The only problem I see is your launch. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT launch with the motor on like that. My father had to get 14 stitches and almost lost half of his index and middle fingers doing that with a very similar airplane.
