Foam and Tape Xbee Raspberry Pi Arduino Jumble Remote

Foam and Tape Xbee Raspberry Pi Arduino Jumble Remote. Turnigy 4X donated the joysticks and panel a cheap way to get this hardware btw.

Sticking with the Xbee and Arduino for control as the boot time is < 3 seconds. An RPi is to slow booting for the main control system.

Based on the old design Xbee Arduino Remote

The plan is to have a video overlay driven by another Arduino Uno on the LCD

The board from the 4X is pretty handy and It retains the trim rocker switches

Arduino captures video from Raspberry Pi Composite Out

I may not use the RPi after all as its boot time is fairly long. I need to arrange
a setup to allow switching between external sink and overlay.

Should be an interesting project need some inspiration on the UI design. Its going to be old school B&W or overlay with soft keys I think driven by a second Arduino

Never heard of that one The Raspberry Pi is a Debian port to ARM also. Odroid worth Android and a touch screen sound interesting I will have a look around.

Thanks for the Tip

I think I'm going all Arduino initialy with a video sync separator shield so I can do video overlays. The boot up is near instant on the Adru as well
