Hello:

Nice informative article. I looked for this PVA) quite a bit in north america, this brand isn't readily available. It looks like Weldbond is a good alternative, In the FAQ section of their website they say it is a PVA glue. I have an EPO wing (Skywalker X-8) I would like to use this technique on but I don't know if weldbond will stick. I used to spray EPP wings with 3M-77 and cover with low temperature covering like econocoat.

hi dave
I would say any type of glue would work as I only used pva as it was cheap and its only to give the vynal something to stick to as I found it will not stick directly onto the foam
I myself never used weldbond but I say it will work and if you need to just layer up the amount of glue and the vynal will stick even better or you could even use hot glue if you spread it evenly enough
thanks for watching : jordan

Your welcome and happy flying tooo plus if its your first time building i would lay down a second layer of glue so that on your second build you know exactly how much to use
thanks Jordan

I would add to Jordan's reply that any water based glue should work, Elmer's, Weld-Bond, white glue! You may even consider adding a little water so the glue gets right down in the nooks and crannies of the foam.
Great idea Jordan and by the way, my grandparents were from Belfast. I haven't heard an accent like yours for many years, delightful. Thanks for the tip. WJ.
