Part 107

What exactly is Part 107, you may ask? It is the set of FAA regulations that encompass any non-hobbyist small unmanned aircraft operations. Basically, anyone that is making income from the use of UAS, they must be certified by taking the Part 107 test and operate according to the regulations. At Flite Test, we find that of utmost importance and follow these rules.

Check out the Part 107 fact sheet here.

Dudes, Great podcast, cant wait to get my hands on that quad. I think a great guest would be an FAA representative to answer and clarify questions that people would have regarding part 107, registering as a hobby flyer and most specifically, how we can expect these rules to be regulated and enforced in the future.

And, Just my .02, you should sell those camera mounts...Just sayin

I am also excited to watch the Spartan quad and have hands-on experience on the same. I guess most of the fans are not aware of Part 107 and it would be great if you can share more info on this. Thanks for your help on this.
