To be honest, I got into this hobby pretty fast... in about 3 months. After that I had my first flight. And like all first flights, it flew but also it crashed... badly.
The parts were not cheap in the Philippines. My original plan was to make a mighty mini and fly it. FINISHED, but it did not turn out well.
I bought the right motor but our hobby shop did not have pushrods, 5 gram servos, extensions and control horns. After months of searchig, I found all my materials.
After awhile I wanted to get into the bigger planes, only to realize that it needed different motors, batteries...etc.
This was my solution: to get any plane I want (example the Spitfire... btw its a great plane) and basically make it a twin engine and yeah...
I made the pods and the powerpod cell thingy (the place where you put your pods into) so that I can put it on other planes like the Versa and maybe even the Kraken. Hahah I bet it would take 4-6 mighty mini motors to carry the kraken....
After making my modifications, I took the 2 versas for a test fly and they flew amazingly...for a beginer. Icould say that it was flying very slow, straight and they were great for indoor flying. On the other hand the spitfire did not get to fly. it was too heavy. the combination of (4) 9 gram sevos was to much for a plane
Spitfire:
Motor- Emaxx 1806 2200 kv
Prop- 5x3
Battery- 1200 mah 2c
Servos- (4) 9 gram
The 2 versas had the same set up except it only used (2) 9 gram servos

im trying to find like the best propeller and battery so that i can get the most thrust out of the 2 motors
