Old Fogey Way Up High

The timelapes at the start was about 6 hours (not constantly working on the plane). Then the ground shot was the maiden flight, both done on gopro 2. And finally the onboard footage was another day from my #16 D lense micro 720p cam.

This is the closest to losing contact with a plane I have ever come (I know it needs some contrasting paint). The plane just flies so easily once you trimmed it out that I can put it into a climbing pattern and before you know it, its ridiculously high up. Especially for a a little 3 channel with a $6 receiver.

I always enjoy watching scratchbuild maiden flights, thank you.

Wow. That took some skill to get that back to you. And you weren't kidding about flying it up high.

I was thinking of building one of these, it's on my project list, but after seeing this, I think it needs to come up further on my list.

I am really eager to build one, especially now. Were you using FPV from the onboard camera?
