Product: Parrot Bebop Drone
Josh Bixler and Dave Knop are in Orlando, Florida today covering the releasing of the new Parrot "Bebop Drone". Featuring a 14 MP camera, 180-degree FOV fish-eye lens, 3-axis digital image-stabilization, Oculus Rift input, and much more.

It seems like the core of the technology in the 3.0 is the in camera stabilization of the image. Instead of using a gimbal with gyros and motors to stabilize the camera body, the image is stabilized by taking an HD frame of the screen and stabilizing within the camera signal.

Always pays to have a bag packed for a quick trip. Very glad you all were able to go and give us a look at the future.

One of our members is working on an AR Drone's software mod, so we will see where that leads as well.

Also great to see the Oculus used with R/C... hopefully more to come from them on that (not fond of current goggles video "quality")

I've always struggled with the Parrot due to the tablet/phone wifi control but this looks incredible. The Oculus tie in is spectacular! I've been hoping to use it for FPV since it was announced. The video footage from the golf course looks great, a tiny bit shaky but the quality was suburb.

Well Josh Bixler, please tell us how FPV with the Oculus Rift compares to FPV with the FatShark goggles? You now have experience with both, how do they compare?

Great to see that FT has gained the notoriety that gets them invited to do this sort of thing. You conducted an excellent review. Keep doing what you guys are doing.

The "Bebop Drone" Looks great. I enjoy the other two versions and I am eager to try this one. Is the head tracking with the rift always on? Does the video support an artificial horizon and other HUD info?

Be safe and have fun.

What else are you all doing in Florida? Orlando is practically my backyard, I would have driven out if I knew!

I just want the controller setup for my own Quad. Somebody get on that. That would make a nice FPV setup.
