Spitfire - Flight Video - First "Night Maiden"

Unfortunately, there isn't mch in this article.  Just some pics and flight video of the second FT Spitfire I built, with LED lights.  I maidened it at night (kinda scary), and it was the first maiden I ever did at night.  I wasn't too worried, though.  Out of all of the Flite Test planes, this was probably the most controllable / stable one for me to fly.  It was really windy, but, after trimming it, it still flew great, with no crashes.  I love it when I get to bring them home in one piece.  I had 3 nice soft landings.

Here are some pics of the plane.

Thanks for the comment. I actually am a dealer of the LED Lights. I have a strip light that I sell at my car audio store in Orlando, FL. It comes as a 5 meter strip of leds that are multi-color. RGB with a controller. On my multi-copters, I use the controller, sometimes, to make it dance in strobing patterns with colors, all by remote control. On the planes, I normally just cut the strip to the desired length, and pick the color that I want, and solder to the appropriate wires to get the color desired. The kits are $30 plus shipping. If you would like to order one, you can contact me at shawn@groundlevelcustoms.com. Or visit my website at www.groundlevelcustoms.com. Although, I don't have a web store at this time. I didn't think of it until now, but I will probably make an article about it, since you asked about them.
