PlaneCoolRC Episode 1 - The Rock and the FT3D

This is our very first episode, and we hope we continue making episodes with a goal of putting them out weekly. For this episode we had two planes, the FT3D from FliteTest and The Rock, a scratch built plane made by Evan. The Rock, affectionately named due to its lack of flying, eventually flew but after changing out the prop. We will put out a seperate episode based on it, and another epsiode focusing on just the FT3D, at a later date.

Josh put all of the bells and wistles on his FT3D. From the veegees to the naca duct. I have heard him compliment the FT3D numerous times on it's stability, yet still being able to perform even the hardest maneuvers. This plane has really helped him to improve on his flying ability and with his 3D flying.

Evan's plane, The Rock, was built in our high schools model aeronautics club, ehich we formed earlier that year. He worked hard on it all year, and after a quick prop change he got it flying. I was surprised at how easily he was able to fly it. From the looks of it I thought it would be extremely unstable, however after some trimming it seemed to be on the contrary. Also, Evan's previous flight experience had only been on a store bought trainer, so I was impressed by his flying skills.

alright for your first ep but here is some advice the p gains were to high on the tri if you turn them down you will get smoother video also try turning down the rc rates that will help too. The video in my opinion was to long there were lots of things you could of cut out to make it shorter. keep up the good work and i look forward to seeing how your next episode goes.
