Hi everyone! Chuck gliders are the perfect first step into this DIY scratch building hobby. The nnChunkStang can be built very quickly and is a joy for K-6 age kids to throw around. Whether you're young or just young at heart, you can't go wrong with this chuck glider.

As you can tell by now, the subject is a P-51 Mustang. The design took me about 30 minutes to put together and another 30 to build. A few community members helped me beta test the design and I'm really happy with how it came out. Join the conversation on the FT Forum Thread.

Enjoy!

Very nice! Thank you. The neighbor kid was just over here tonight wanting to build another glider. Any suggestion on how to print the plan in tile?

Just built one of these for my little niece... Had built a Sparrow glider for my nephew, but thought it would be too big and hard to throw for the niece... This is perfect, was quick and simple to build, and glides amazing!

Thanks!

I have built 1/2 dozen of these cool gliders. The grand kids each decorated and are flying them. Quick, easy project.
