Leonardo C-27J "Spartan" 100% Scratchbuild

Hello again!

This time i want to show the last twin engine plane i made, a Leonardo C-27J Spartan..... or a Aeritalia G222 as you wish, because is almost the same plane, but as i made the same plane before, with less powerful engines and the lack of flaps and other details, i decide to call this "C-27J Spartan" as the real one is the improved versión of his predecessor , the Aeritalia G222.

The things i learn after i build the first plane where:

1. Simpler load cargo door. 
2. Better hatch for batteries
3. No need for shock absorbents in the landing gear.
4. Flaps! they are useful!
5. More power!
6. Less, bigger fuselage pieces
7. Extra reinforcement in the wing.
8. Varathane polyurethane water based varnish.
9. Good decals.

Later i took out the nose landing gear for a simple version. Btw, the wheels are made from scratch too!

In the belly there is space for a little ventral cargo .... mmm a camera maybe?

Another thing to improve was the central wing piece. 

This piece was hard to make but a lot lighter than the previous twin i made...

Now sand it... a lot of it!

Ready for the paint job!

The owner wanted a fictional navy blue scheme with some high visibility strips, kind of "operation musketter" style...

This is the best part, a entire day or two, dedicated to the details!

Almost done!!

The cargo door it´s a must in this plane, was designed with the maximum cargo capacity in mind.

Now the decals and windshield finnish and later, the varnish...

The best looking plane i made ever by far...
